All New Dream Boys with “DREAM BOYS JET”

 

Last Sept 5th, Kis-My-Ft2‘s Tamamori Yuta, Senga Kento, and Miyata Toshiya had their first performance for “DREAM BOYS JET” at Imperial Theater in Tokyo.

“DREAM BOYS” is a popular stage play which have starred Hideaki Takizawa and Kamenashi Kazuya in lead roles; Kamenashi won’t be doing the play this year due to conflicting schedule as he will star in “Tokyo Bandwagon” drama this October.

With new performers at helm, the said play also had a new content as it featured half the life of Masahiko Kondo, who challenged the racing world despite being an idol. Tamamori played the role of Masahiko Kondo, Miyata as the racing team’s engineer, and Masahiko made a special appearance as the racing team’s owner.

Masahiko felt like a newcomer as it is his first time in 24 years to be in a stage play again, he also added that his desire to show his “cool side” to his juniors have become strong because of this opportunity.

“DREAM BOYS JET” will run until Sept 29th at Imperial Theater.

VAMPS reveal details on their annual Halloween event

VAMPS revealed the schedule for their annual Halloween event 'HALLOWEEN PARTY 2013'.

This year, the event will be held for 5 days: from October 19th to the 20th in Kobe, and from October 25th to the 27th in Chiba.

SEE ALSO: HYDE's Halloween band to release single again this year

Aside VAMPS, the artists of their special band 'HALLOWEEN JUNKY ORCHESTRA' will be making an appearance at the event. To coincide the event, they will release their Halloween single "HALLOWEEN PARTY" on October 16th.

Chinen Yuri Joins Nishikido Ryo in “Yorozu Uranaidokoro Onmyoya e Yokoso” upcoming Drama

It has been reported that Hey!Say!JUMP‘s Chinen Yuri will be joining Kanjani8‘s Nishikido Ryo in the upcoming drama, “Yorozu Uranaidokoro Onmyoya e Yokoso“. This is the first time that the two will be working together in a drama.

Based from Amano Shoko’s “Onmyouya” novel, Nishikido will play the role of a fake fortune-teller named Abe Shoumei, who uses his past experiences as a host and his good conversational skills, to dig deeper into the client’s woes. Chinen will play the role of Sawazaki Shunta, a 10th-grader who will work part-time in Abe’s Fortune-telling shop as his “shikigami”* (spirit/divination). Although Sawazaki is reluctant to work as Abe’s assistant, his keen sense of smell and hearing and his strong sense of justice will later prevail.
In addition, Kurashina Kana will play the role of Tadano Michiko, Abe’s heroine and Sawazaki’s homeroom teacher. Tadano is inexperienced with love and does not believe in things without scientific basis; therefore, she and Abe will often clash because she does not believe in fortune-telling. This will also be the first time that the three will be working together.
“Yorozu Uranaidokoro Onmyoya e Yokoso” will air on Oct 8th (10PM, JST) in Fuji TV.
